What is E-A-T Content Strategy?

The Definition of E-A-T Content Strategy

E-A-T (Expertise, Authority, and Trust) content is a style of writing that aims to impart expert knowledge of a subject. It is determined by establishing expertise, authority and trustworthiness. E-A-T content is useful for engaging and informing business audiences or creating brand awareness. To create E-A-T content, a company must develop expertise in a specific subject. This expertise can then be expressed through authority, which refers to the ability to demonstrate knowledge. Trustworthiness, the third component, involves proving the trustworthiness and expertise of the company through third-party validation.

While E-A-T content is often used to describe blog posts, it can be used more broadly to describe many different types of content, including blog posts, ebooks, whitepapers, videos, case studies, and more. E-A-T isn’t just about the quality of the writing. It’s also about the quality of the medium and the individual author’s expertise in the subject matter.
