This is incredible, incredible news. SPF2T is one of my favorite games of all time, and I once played it semi-obsessively. It’s going to be re-released with new HD graphics and, more importantly, network play!! Yet another reason to get a XBOX 360.

The other thing is the formal announcement of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations, the 3rd Phoenix Wright game. There had been rumors of it earlier in the week, including a release date of 9/25/07, but the confirmation at the show was great.

Coincidentally, Gyakuten Saiban 4 (the 4th Phoenix Wright game) is coming out right about now in Japan. Unlike previous Phoenix Wright releases for DS, it will not have an English language version included with the Japanese game. The games are succeeding well enough in the US that I think it’s inevitable it will be brought over though – and I for one can’t wait.
